About Sean
I changed my name from Sean Smith to Sean Arenas on 10/11/2006 to more accurately reflect the name of the family I gained my values from.
I live in California and take pictures in the San Fernando Valley and Simi Valley areas. There is ample mountain landscape, and the variable cloudcover allows the landscape to change from day to day.
My love of photography started young. I went on many trips as a child, and my family would photograph everything we saw. Through these pictures, years later, I could remember images from my youth, and learn about my family history before my birth.
Soon, I requested my turn at the camera, and began taking pictures of everything we saw on our vacations. Birds, trees, and landscapes through Death Valley and the Grand Canyon area. The ocean and beach in Ensenada, BC. Snow and tree covered mountains in Idyllwild. People in my school, family, and events such as parties, performances, and concerts.
I now bring that love of capturing nature and life to you.
Sean's Equipment
I use a Canon Digital Rebel XTi with a 18-75mm lens, and a 75-300mm image stabilization lens. I switch between an ultraviolet filter and a polarizing filter.
For video, I use a Kodak V1253, which gets high definition 720 resolution video.
